1,Q: PABX is often struck by lightning at the days thundering , and the telephone system will be broken down, why?
A:
Thunder and lightning will pass through outdoor overhead wire line, power cable lead into machine and close strong electric field that thunder form around damage equipment. So for prevent destruction to outdoor junction line,user line caused to strike by lightning must be installed safely at the distributing frame , such outer equipment as machine , distributing frame , power , terminal,etc. should have good grounding, for installing in the mountain area, the equipment and the spacious area should hold the shielding network on the window, the apron of the machine should be covered properly. As to often customer that is strike by lightning, should insure their PBX and sign a agreement with us, in order to avoid losses of stopping of  the enterprise¡¯s in communication.

Q: when login into system, and entered the wrong password for many times, next login with the correct password, but I still can¡¯t access the system, why?
A: It is safeguard designed to prevent someone unauthorized access the system.
After the password is entered wrong for 3 times, the system will be locked by itself, and can not be accessed even the password entered is right. While, please stop trying and try again after half hour.

Q: When an incoming  call try to access the attendant console, the caller can hear the ringback tone, but no operator answer the call and the operator said there was no call arrived at the console at all. Why?
A: It seems like there are some problems with certain trunk lines. Some lines from CO or on our MDF have been breakdown. And at this time, we should inspect all lines on our MDF, if the problem exists on the external line, please contact with the CO to resolve the problem.

Q: Can the passport 6400 interconnect with thirty-party routers to build a whole network? And which protocol will be used?
A: Yes, and PPP can be used.

Q: When BCM and M1 interconnected using IP Trunk, we found the calls from M1 to BCM can be made successfully but rightabout calls can not be launched. Why?
A: Please check all things have been configured correctly, such as the trucks routing, the dial pattern of H.323 and the IP address of the ITG on M1. Please also make sure the DN was distributed in appropriate routing group.

Q: when external calls hang up, why the hang-up delay time need take 6 seconds?
A: please change the parameter of rgv in routing configuration data.

Q: Why our 2M PRI truck is unavailable?
A: Please restart the Digital Trunk Card.

Q: When we transfer a call to a busy phone set in our hotel, it is announced by the system that there is no such a telephone number. Why?
A: Please check if this phone number has been configured with a voice mailbox.

Q: The red light on the Card is lighted. Why?
A: Please check the HW status, the Loop19 RED lamp was on, after doing loop back, the RED was off. It was not the problem caused by M1, the cause is the UPS of the fiber-optic terminals was power off.

Q: When an external call access an ACD Queue, 2 agents phone sets ring at the same time. And it seems a 3-party conference has been created When the 2 agents hook off. Why?
A: There is some problem with the IVR system.
